Nutcracker Mirliton

An enchanting, hand made Russian professional tutu for the role of the Mirlitons. This stage costume can also be used for the role of the Fairy Doll.

The top part of the tutu is made using gold brocade and ivory lace. There is a front deep turquoise insert, richly decorated with chiffon turquoise bows, pearls, crystals and sequins. The insert and the top part of the bodice are embellished with gold trim.

The professional, 10 layers Russian pancake tutu is made in two shades of aqua/turquoise high quality tulle. The top layer of the tutu skirt is decorated in a geometrical pattern, using the same fabric of the bodice, turquoise bows, gold appliques, trims and crystals.

The tutu skirt is hooped, panties are ruffled, and the top fastens in the back with a double row of hooks and eyes. Entirely hand sewn and embroidered.

The result is a stunning stage costume.
