Karsavina

"Karsavina" is the second professional stage costume of our "Imperial Collection". This tutu is a unique model only available in a limited edition.

It takes its name from the famous Mariynsky ballerina Tamara Karsavina.

The bodice is created using deep red and white brocade. It features a deep V in the front and extremely rich decoration, made using black shiny trims and sequins, gold appliques, gold and white pearls. The decoration pattern goes all the way down to where the bodice meets with the skirt.

 The bodice fastens at the back with two rows of hooks and eyes. An elasticated string is inserted in the top of the bodice for better adjustment and a perfect fit.

The 10 layers red professional platter skirt features an overlay of glittery red tulle, and is heavily decorated with black sequin inserts, gold appliques, pearls and crystals.

This professional stage costume can be used for the most important ballet competitions and caters to the most sophisticated ballerinas.
